The Mount Pleasant Board of Zoning Appeals will hear request submittals on Monday, September 13, 2021. The agenda item is as follows:
a) Conditional Use Permit Request: BZA-09132021(CU)
• Applicant is requesting a conditional use permit for property located at 208 Halls Alley. The property is further identified on Tax Map 133O Group J Parcel 016.05 and legally recorded at Maury County Register of Deeds office. The purpose for this request is to cover the exterior walls of a 720-sf detached garage, new construction, with metal cladding.
b) Setback Variance Request: BZA-09132021(VR)
• Applicant is requesting a front yard setback reduction from 30’ to 25’ and a side yard setback reduction from 15’ to 5’ on property located at 601 South Main St, further identified on Tax Map 133O Group K Parcel 014.00, and legally recorded at Maury County Register of Deeds office. The reason for this request is to be able to utilize the lot for new construction of a single-family dwelling.
