This 25th day of August of 2025 notice is hereby given that the Mount Pleasant Beer Board will meet on Monday, September 8, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. in the Tom Hardin Room at Mount Pleasant City Hall. The Beer Board will consider the application of the following charitable organization for a Special Event Permit to serve alcoholic beverages at their annual charity event at the designated location.
(1) Mount Pleasant Benefit Ball Committee: the event will be held at Manor Hall located at 216 Pleasant Street, Mount Pleasant, Tennessee 38474.

MOUNT PLEASANT MUNICIPAL PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING
TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 9, 2025, 6:00 P.M. - TOM HARDIN ROOM AT CITY HALL
A. Applicant: Brightland Homes of Tennessee LLC has submitted construction plans for Southbend Crossing, a proposed residential development consisting of 219 lots across approximately 58.71 acres. The property is primarily zoned R-3 (High Density Residential), with a portion zoned R-2 (Medium Density Residential). It is located off South Cross Bridges Road, near the intersection with US Highway 43. The site is identified as Tax Map 133, Parcel 01.01, and is recorded in Book R3049, Page 645.
B. Applicant: Samantha Larson (on behalf of Lab Land Holdings, LLC)
An application has been submitted for site plan approval for a proposed 4,000-square-foot industrial building on a 3.32-acre parcel located on Hoover Mason Road. The property is identified as Tax Map 129, Parcel 45.16.
C. Applicant: Jessica K. Lucyshyn (on behalf of Stewart Parker and the Maury County Industrial Development Board) An application has been submitted for site plan approval for Project Mustang, a proposed 186,000-square-foot industrial facility to be constructed on 36.9 acres within the Cherry Glenn Industrial Park. The property is identified as Tax Map 126, Parcel 041.01.

The City of Mount Pleasant Board of Commissioners will meet on Thursday, September 11, 2025 at 5:00 pm in the Tom Hardin Room at City Hall to consider and hold a PUBLIC HEARING on the following:

The City will hold a PUBLIC HEARING on the proposed annexation.
If annexed, the City will provide certain municipal services to the area pursuant to a Plan of Services. The City will hold a PUBLIC HEARING on the proposed plan of services for the territory proposed for annexation.
Any territory annexed into the City, shall upon annexation, establish the zoning classification of annexed property simultaneous with the effective date of annexation. The applicant requested a zoning classification for the subject property of High Density Residential (R3). The City will hold a PUBLIC HEARING on the zoning classification of High Density Residential for the subject property upon annexation.
For clarity, the PUBLIC HEARING will be on the following items:
1. A resolution to annex and approve a plan of services for the above-described properties.
2. ORDINANCE 2025-1135 (Final Reading) - An Ordinance Amending Title 14, Zoning and Land Use Control, Chapter 2, Zoning Ordinance, of the Mount Pleasant Municipal Code, the same being the Zoning Ordinance for the City of Mount Pleasant, Tennessee, including the municipal zoning map incorporated therein by zoning property on Trotwood and Old Zion Roads to High Density Residential (R3) contingent upon annexation.

The Mount Pleasant City Commission will meet for its regularly scheduled study session on Thursday, September 11, 2025 at 6:00 p.m., following the public hearing. The City Commission will consider, deliberate, and vote on these agenda items at its regularly scheduled meeting on September 16, 2025.
NOTICE OF A PUBLIC MEETING OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF MOUNT PLEASANT, TENNESSEE
Please take notice that the Board of Commissioners of the City of Mount Pleasant, Tennessee (the “Board”), will hold and conduct a special-called public meeting on Thursday, September 11, 2025, commencing at 7:00 p.m., local time, in the Tom Hardin Room at City Hall, 100 Public Square, Mount Pleasant, Tennessee, 38474, to consider the approval of documents related to a payment in lieu of tax transaction for Project Mustang.
All interested persons are invited to attend the meeting. The meeting agenda will be available to the public on the Board’s website at least forty-eight (48) hours prior to the start of the meeting.
The Board may also consider such other matters as may come before the Board during the meeting. The Board will reserve a period for public comment during such meeting, and any person wanting to provide public comment at the meeting shall express their desire to do so in person immediately prior to such meeting.
