a. Ordinance 2021-1073 – (Public Hearing/Final Reading) – An Ordinance to convert Clark Avenue and Shofner Avenue into one-way streets, in the City of Mount Pleasant, Tennessee, and described more accurately within the body of this Ordinance.

b. Ordinance 2021-1074 – (Public Hearing/Final Reading) – An Ordinance to amend Ordinance 2020-1055 said Ordinance appropriating the revenues and expenses of operating and maintaining the departmental functions of the City of Mount Pleasant, Tennessee for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2020 and ending June 30, 2021; providing an effective date.

c. Ordinance 2021-1075 – (Public Hearing/Final Reading) – An Ordinance of the City of Mount Pleasant, Tennessee adopting the annual budget and tax rate for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2021 and ending June 30, 2022.

Ordinance 2021-1076 – (First Reading) – An Ordinance declining to amend Title 14, Zoning and Land Use Control, Chapter 2, Zoning Ordinance, of the Mount Pleasant Municipal Code, the same being the Zoning Ordinance for the City of Mount Pleasant, Tennessee, including the Municipal Zoning Map incorporated therein by rezoning a property from Neighboring Commercial (CN) to Medium Density Residential (R2). (North Main Street)

b. Ordinance 2021-1077 – (First Reading) – An Ordinance amending Title 14, Zoning and Land Use Control, Chapter 2, Zoning Ordinance, of the Mount Pleasant Municipal Code, the same being the Zoning Ordinance for the City of Mount Pleasant, Tennessee, including the Municipal Zoning Map incorporated therein by rezoning a property from Low Density Residential (R1) to High Density Residential (R3). (First Avenue & North High Street)

c. Ordinance 2021-1078 – (First Reading) – An Ordinance establishing Historic Zoning Overlay District in the City of Mount Pleasant.

d. Resolution 2021-11 – A Resolution authorizing the appropriation of municipal funds for non-profit organization, Mount Pleasant Community Development Corporation/Main Street.

e. Resolution 2021-12 – A Resolution authorizing the appropriation of municipal funds for non-profit organization, Mount Pleasant-Maury Museum of Local History.

f. Resolution 2021-13 – A Resolution authorizing the appropriation of municipal funds for non-profit organization, Mount Pleasant Senior Citizens.

g. Resolution 2021-14 – A Resolution adopting the City of Mount Pleasant Long Term Strategic Plan.

h. Resolution 2021-15 – A Resolution declining to redistribute sales tax increase.

i. Approval of authority for the Mayor to purchase the Railroad Street property for the amount in the closing statement and sign all final documents.

THE CITY OF MOUNT PLEASANT NOTICE OF APPROPRIATION FOR NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS

Mt. Pleasant/Maury Museum of Local History and Mt. Pleasant Community Development Corporation are non-profit charitable or civic organizations whose services benefit the general welfare of the residents of this municipality; and said non-profit organizations have applied for funds for the fiscal year 2021-2022 to be used for the following purpose(s) and in the following amount:

AGENCY PURPOSE AMOUNT

Mt Pleasant/Maury Museum of Local History Utility Bill $ 1,500

Mt. Pleasant Community Development Corporation General Purposes $ 25,000

Transit Alliance of Middle Tennessee General Purposes $ 250

Mount Pleasant Senior Citizens Center Office space plus general $ 1,000


The City of Mount Pleasant, Tennessee, do hereby provide certain financial information for the Fiscal Year 2021-2022 budget in accordance with the requirements of T.C.A. 6-56-206. There will be a public hearing concerning the Budget at City Hall on June 15th at 6:00 pm. All citizens are welcome to attend and participate. The budget and all support data is available for public inspection at City Hall in the office of the Finance Director.


The public is invited to attend City of Mount Pleasant, Tennessee Board of Commissioners meetings. .
